In a recent New York Times article, you can see Guzzle H2O co-founder, Sean "Doogie" Couvreux, on the bow of Bella Mente, a Mini-Maxi racing sailboat. The article by David Schmidt describes how professional sailors are spending more time in the gym working on their fitness levels to compensate for heavier sails and more athletic boats. Not only are the sailors having to be fitter, they are also having to support themselves throughout the day by eating the right foods and staying hydrated.
