The story of Guzzle H2O began in late fall 2017 with Sean "Doogie" Couvreux, a professional bowman for several sailboat racing teams, who constantly navigated varied water needs. Fed up with the hassle of sourcing clean water and observing the pervasive waste from single-use plastic bottles, he envisioned a simpler way. His frustration sparked a larger conversation concerning a universal problem: easy access to pure, convenient water remained elusive.

Tyler Bech, a trusted friend and collaborator, joined Doogie. Together, they envisioned a future where everyone could easily get clean water, thereby reducing the burden of bottled supplies.

Since early 2018, their collaboration on Guzzle H2O has brought this vision to life. The first on-board system, designed to meet the unique demands of sailing, was installed on a Transpac 52 racing yacht in April 2018, marking the beginning of their journey to provide tailored water purification solutions for peoples unique needs, pursuits and passions, from the home to destinations farther off the beaten path.
