No. The Eddy is for treating potable sources of water. The 0.5 micron filter will remove fine sediment often found in campground water sources. It also leaves both city and campground water tasting great.
We have ours made in the US so we know exactly what is in them, but all of our filters are a standard size and available at retailers worldwide.
Why is this SO expensive is what I want to know. Almost identical on eBay for almost $100 less… v strange.
